As our first project at UID we partnered up with Electrolux for
a 4 week design sprint.

Goal

"Going Solo" - Develop a product for a single living space.
In our case for Lukas, 34, Dentist, living in Munich, Germany.

Outcome

A modular appliance hub that organizes cluttering devices
from the kitchen counter.

A coherent system that makes the process
of sorting and washing laundry more convenient and efficient.

A modular kitchen hub that organizes
cluttering devices from the kitchen counter

Standardized Sizes

Modules blend seamlessly into the hub. Frame and modules can be arranged and exchanged adapting to changing living situations.

Plug & Play

Distribution plate provides the hub with water and electricity, no matter where a module is installed. The installation process does not require proffesional tools or help.

Connected

Modules interact with each other and can be controlled and
timed by the Electrolux App.
